Renovations to the interior of the Decorah Public Library are progressing as planned, according to library staff members.

New flooring has been installed, while painting continues in several areas on the main floor. Remaining projects include painting trim and railings throughout the building, installing new skylight panels, moving library furniture, shelving, work spaces, and materials back to their original locations, and replacing the roof on the loading dock.

The library is closed during the construction, however, library staff are providing book bundles, curbside services, digital programming, remote tech help, and more.

Additional details about current services, as well as photos and video clips of the building projects, are available on the library's Facebook page,
