93-year-old Tilman Ellingson of Decorah died Wednesday, June 12th, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 21st, at the Decorah Lutheran Church, with Reverend David Sorenson and Reverend Bryan Robertson presiding. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m., at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Phelps Cemetery in Decorah with full military rites by the Helof Holm VFW Chapter #1977. The Schluter--Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is assisting the family.

Tilman is survived by his wife: Lorena Ellingson, Decorah, IA. Three daughters: Wanda (John) Condie, Durango, CO; and Wendy (Brian) Furey, Minneapolis, MN. Wanett (Norm) Helmuth, Iowa City, IA. Ian (Korrine) Condie, Nicholas Furey, Alex and Max Helmuth. One great granddaughter: Maggie Condie. Two sisters: Cheryl Bergan, Decorah, IA; and Sandra Pierce, Sacramento, CA. One sister-in-law: Mary Ellingson, Decorah, IA. Two brothers-in-law: Calvin Snitker, Waukon, IA, and Edward Shelby, Summerton, NC, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
