Robin e-mails: "In your article about the Decorah Public Library reopening on February 1st, you said they'd offer 'express service,' but you didn't say what that means!"
The Answer Person says: "Robin, you have a good point, although one of the reasons we didn't include that information in the news story is that decisions are still being made on exactly what services will be offered.
But since you asked for more information, we can tell you it's very likely the library will be offering "browse and go" opportunities. That means patrons can come into the library, look through the bookshelves for 15 to 20 minutes, and then check out books.
It's also likely the library's photocopier will be available for public use and two or three computers at the library will be available to the public as well. There's also a very good chance there will be some days when the library is open after 5:00 p.m. and some hours on Saturdays when the library is open.
However, all of these details are still being worked on. An announcement will be made before February 1st, so keep your eyes peeled!"
