Eastern Iowa Congressman Rod Blum on Friday told supporters at the Family Table Restaurant in Decorah that "I'm Nancy Pelosi's #1 target."  Blum says while contributions to his campaign have come mostly from his district, contributions to Democrat Abby Finkenauer's campaign have largerly come from California and New York and out of state.  "Nancy Pelosi is trying to buy a seat in Congress," he told the crowd.

Blum says Pelosi wants to impeach President Trump and that Trump's only crime is "that he beat Hillary Clinton."  He predicts that if Democrats retake the majority in the House of Representatives, "endless investigations" will take place, the US economy will come to a halt and Maxine Waters will be the chair of a key House Finance Committee ("be afraid," he added).

Blum says the differences between the Republican Party's philosophies and those of the Democratic Party "have never been wider."  He says Republicans want voters to keep their own money, while Democrats want to take money from voters and decide how to spend it.
