When an apartment on Water Street caught fire on April 25th, the boutique business "INSPIRE+D" was forced to close down.

Owner Jessica Blaess says, "We are currently on the final steps of the clean up process. We hope to reopen as soon as possible. We don't have a reopening date yet, but are hoping to have a better idea by next week."

She says the apartment had much more fire damage, while INSPIRE+D was fortunate to have minimal water and smoke damage.

Blaess along with Michael Salazer co-founded INSPIRE+D.  Their original location is in Arizona.  They opened a second location in Decorah in April. INSPIRE+D is a marketplace boutique located on 122 E. Water Street that carries original, hand-crafted products.
