Decorah Middle School and Decorah High School orchestra students have participated in the Kennedy Honors Orchestra Festival

19 students in seventh through ninth grades participated in the Kennedy Honors Orchestra Festival in Cedar Rapids on Saturday.  The students were nominated by their teachers, Jennifer Larson and Nicole Cody, for both their playing skills and their ability to maintain focus throughout a long day of rehearsing.

Conductors for the festival were Muscatine High School orchestra director Jonathon Thoma and Des Moines area performer and conductor Michele Senger.
