Winneshiek County Conservation has received a $8,915 grant from the Iowa DNR.

The money will be used for projects at Lake Meyer, in addition to a grant from the Winneshiek County Community Foundation.  The combined funds will pay for new fish spawning beds in the lake near the boat ramp.  The money will also be used to pay for a sediment trap dam on the lake.

The projects are expected to take place this coming summer.
