Ask Mr. (Nordic Fest) Answer Person: Why wasn't water available at Tent 5?

K.A. e-mails Mr. Answer Person: "I normally read the questions sent in to you and chuckle, thinking some of the topics are so petty to worry about, but after my experience at Nordic Fest, I feel compelled to write to you.  My question, is why, when I participated in the Nordic Fest by going to the Back Home Boys (who were awesome by the way), was there only alcohol served?  There were people of all ages there, and I'm sure I was not the only adult NOT drinking.  But I was told to get water at the Lion's stand, which by the way, was not open.  Because of this, I had to leave the area and walk to the bar.  Thanks to Your Place bartenders for providing water for those of us who don't drink!

Mr. Answer Person says: This is a good place for me to point out that the hard-working Nordic Fest Board holds a public meeting every fall at which time the public can make suggestions about how to improve next year's Fest.  You can also e-mail Nordic Fest Board members: visit their e-mails at http://www.nordicfest.com/site/nordic-fest-board.html

But let me put in a good word on behalf of Nordic Fest Board members.  They are community members who put in ZILLIONS of hours (slight exaggeration, but not by much) to make sure everyone has an enjoyable Fest.  They are not part of a sinister plot to keep water away from people who visit Tent 5.

So send them an e-mail with your suggestion about selling water at Tent 5.  And while you're at it, a "thank you" to them for their hard work would be a very nice touch!
