A decorahnews.com reader e-mails: "Dear Mr. Answer Person, Recently there was a report on the "Today Show" about the danger of radon in schools. Iowa is a state in which radon levels can be high. Have Decorah Schools ever been tested the radon levels?"
Mr. Answer Person says: "In a word, 'yes.' And the results show there are currently no problems with radon in Decorah school buildings. Decorah School Superintendent Mike Haluska says the school district continues to do periodic evaluations.
