The sculptures of Decorah artist Hans Peter Jorgensen will be shown at The
Perfect Edge  in Decorah during the month of October.

Jorgensen will be displaying 13 sculptures including new bronzes cast while wintering in Mexico and new painted plaster work completed this summer.  Included in the show is the large piece called "Awakening the Sage," which consists of four bronze symbolic figures related to spirituality, authentic action, gratitude and enjoyment.  The piece was inspired by the life coaching work of his wife, Mary Jorgensen.  Jorgensen is also donating one piece, "Head of a Woman" to the Driftless Art Collective fundraiser.

An artist's reception will be held starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday at The Perfect Edge at 118 Washington Street in Decorah, next to La Rana.  Refreshments will be served.  All are welcome to attend.
